The Village Players Theater on Glendon St. began as the Unitarian Church in 1888. It was extremely ornate with a tall steeple. Sold to the Masons in 1912, extensive remodeling included removal of the steeple. In 1995, the building was sold to the Village Players, again remodeled and is a popular facility for plays, movies and other activities.
