Wolfeboro Historical Society Postcard Archive Wolfeboro Areas Outliers

This familiar sign stands at several of the main roads leading to Wolfeboro. The mansion burned down in 1820; the site, on Governor Wentworth Highway near the northeast shore of Lake Wentworth, is a State Historical Site with the foundation and well remaining. Card is c. 1930's, 1940's.
