Wolfeboro Historical Society Postcard Archive Boats and Trains Other Boats

The Lady of the Lake was a large steamer, 121' long, 21' beam, 400 passenger capacity. Built in 1848, then rebuilt in 1882, the steamer was used for excursions and railroad passenger transportation around the lake. The boat was retired in 1893. Very early postcard.
