Wolfeboro Historical Society Postcard Archive Churches

The First Congregation Church was formed in 1834, and the building on the right at Pickering Corner, where the Soldier's Monument is today, was dedicated in 1847. It was used until 1912, when a new Church was built nearby. This building was torn down in 1913. The red brick building on the left is the Cate Block, one of the town's best known rooming houses.
