Wolfeboro Historical Society Digital Archive Museum Tours Firehouse Tour

This Carroll Hose Tender was used with the Carroll Pumper No. 2. The Carroll No. 2 Fire Company was the first company in the Wolfeboro Fire Precinct, established in 1866. The Hose Tender was pulled by two men and carried about 300 feet of riveted leather hose. Restored in 1980, this tender is typical of the style of the mid to late 1800's.
